Arrival at the "Children's educational garden" , immersed in the enchanting scenery of a typically Etnean nature and welcome by the internal staff, presentation of the educational path and division of the group into two circuits.

Discovering the vegetable garden.
Surrounded by the luxuriant vegetation, the participants will be involved in a real open-air lesson on the different characteristics of plants and their leaves, from the traditional ones of our places to the rarer ones such as: the sensitive plant or the carnivorous one.
After having learned all the curiosities related to the forest in autumn, each participant, with the help of our assistants, will be able to try their hand at creating and setting up a real vegetable garden , being able to prepare in jar his own plant , which he will take home while continuing to take care of it following the advice he learned during the visit.

Discovering the Etnean environment.
Interesting didactic moment on how to recognize and distinguish the different minerals of our territory, their characteristics and properties, their geological origins, also through an interesting comparison with rocks, stones and other elements of geographical areas other than ours. During the lesson you will have the opportunity to observe a splendid collection of insects , from the most common to the rarest and most fascinating, and you will be able to deepen some aspects concerning the fauna of our woods .
