The route winds through a luxuriant chestnut grove, and enters the middle of the broom that surrounds the mountain, from which you can admire wonderful views of the summit of Etna.

Here you have the opportunity to observe the various adventitious cones that have arisen on this side over the centuries. A path allows you to visit the interior of the huge crater, to better grasp the uniqueness of this edge of the volcano.
