Meeting with the nature guide and departure in the direction of Milo, arrival and beginning of the nature trail to be covered on foot.

The central part, at the end of a short climb, is entirely characterized by chestnut trees, hazelnuts and the typical Etna vegetation, up to the interior of a forest with a surprisingly beautiful landscape, which warm colors and a thousand shades , make the walk very suggestive.

At the end of a climb of medium-low difficulty and about 2 kilometers long you reach the craters of 1928 from which the lava flow that threatened Mascali and the neighboring villages emerged.

Here, in addition to the fractures in the ground now colonized by mosses and lichens, the Hornitos are also visible, very rare to see at such a low altitude, and consisting of real masses of lava that have solidified on the outside, creating showy cones with a visible lava flow channel inside them.

Transfer in the direction of Sant'Alfio to visit the beautiful Chestnut tree of the hundred Horses , a thousand-year-old arboreal patriarch, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, considered the largest and oldest tree in Europe.

Guests are welcomed into an equipped area of 1,500 square meters equipped with wooden seats and tables, pergolas and reserved canopies, surrounded by a typically Etnean nature.
